Although I still love the neutral and fresh pallet in our home, lately it seems that everything I touch turns to color (mostly orange and peacock blue to be exact.)
I've found that bold pops of color are such an easy way to mix things up and keep your home fresh. I especially love the contrast of the bold color layered onto an otherwise white room.
When you get tired of it or trends change, you can always repaint or go back to those soft and soothing neutrals.
So don't be afraid to keep those neutral basics but add bold prints in pillow or pops of color in vases, side tables, or even bring the color outside to your deck or beach.
Here are some of my favorite colorful inspirations this week:

Gorgeous, right? And the best part..."available in SIX COLORS!"
If it wouldn't be kind of weird, I'd have one in every room of my house.

I can't even imagine all that I would love to store in here...because if I imagine it, I might just click "add to cart" without a second thought. Not that I would mind if these showed up on my doorstep, but I think they're a bit out of the budget at the moment.
Since we're in what seems to be a season of non-stop busyness, the color has come by way of spray paint around here lately.
Nothin' wrong with that.... just instant gratification in a can!
Inexpensive, easy, and totally transformative in a matter of seconds.
Lately, that's just my kind of project :)
When a good friend gave us these chairs for the lake, they were just begging for a quick little spray! I love the way they've made our beach instantly more fun!
Better run - I'm SURE there is something else that needs some color around here :)
Happy Weekend!
