My IKEA Shopping List

Oh IKEA!
Some love you for your yummy cinnamon rolls and big blue shopping bags.
Some are not so in love with your never-ending aisles, hard to assemble pieces, and complete lack of charm.
{I admit, on nearly every day of my life, I fall in to the latter category.}
It's a maze in there, y'all!
BUT what I cannot argue with is their killer prices!

Now that I have a little one at home, my trips to IKEA are few and far between.   When I do manage to get there, I have some stand-by favorites that I go back to time and time again.
{Why yes I DO need ten more baskets, two more sheepskin rugs, and of course a million more little tea lights.  Don't you?}

Before I run up there this week to pick up some things for a client {and myself} with baby in tow, I thought I'd share with you my Ikea shopping list.

Handwoven Byholma Basket in Grey

Starting at $6, these little beauties are perfect for organizing, stylish storage, and just about anything!
I can't tell you how many I go through each year....fill them with wine, the makings of a great meal, and some sweet treats; label them with a chalkboard tag and you've got the making of the perfect hostess gift!

RENS Sheepskin Rugs
So affordable and versatile!
We have two in Elle's nursery
 ...but I'd use them in every room if I could.
They also look absolutely perfect thrown over a chair in the dining room for some added texture and interest.

Lack Side Tables
At $9.99, these thrifty finds can become quite trendy.
I love them as is:

Or I can envision them taking a fancier turn with brass corners and nail-heads or even dip dyed legs.
{if that trend's ship hasn't quite sailed yet}

Stockholm Rug
{via Divaani}
I adore all things brass these days and what better to compliment my love of gold than this black & white number?
I envision it in a future playroom at the Knotts house VERY soon!

Docksta Table
A close relative to the ever popular tulip table; though this one will not break the bank.

What I'm intrigued by here is the mix of a classic, traditional style with some quirky IKEA pieces thrown in.  Though it's just not my thing to decorate a whole home with a streamlined, modern look; I could handle an unexpected pop like this!

RIBBA Picture Frames
You can never have enough of these.
They make the perfect monochromatic gallery wall.

Again with the brass...you could even add some brass L-brackets to the corners to spice things up a bit.

That's my IKEA shopping list!
Now if navigating the store was just that easy.....
What are your favorites at IKEA?
